Fitting Instructions
- Remove towball and electric sockets from the towbar
- Fit the Tow-Tekta between the towball and towbar. If using the existing bolts, the ends of the bolts should protrude through the nuts when tightened. If longer bolts are required they must be BS3692 M16 high tensile towball bolts grade 8.8. New shakeproof washers or nylon locking nuts grade 8 should be used on all occasions. Bolts should be tightened to 240Nm.
- The electrical sockets can be refitted without the need to rewire, using slots provided in the socket mountings
