This can run both the trailer exterior lights (brakes/sidelights/indicators etc) and the caravan functions (reverse lights/fridge/leisure battery), replacing the 7-pin 12N and 12S plugs.

The 13-pin system is set to be the new standard over the current 7-pin type:

• 13-pin plugs have been fitted to all new caravans since 2008
• A rubber seal on the plug ensures a water-tight connection
• Twist-fit attachment between socket and plug ensures full contact on the pins at all times
