Replacement Secondary Coupling Safety Cable that is suitable for all un-braked trailers.
A secondary coupling safety cable is a legal requirement on all un-braked trailers manufactured after 1st January 1997.
This safety cable bolts on to the trailer & then the loop attaches over the ball. If the coupling is not attached properly or becomes detached from the tow ball this safety cable keeps the trailer attached to the tow bar & prevents it from leaving the vehicle.
